Evaluation activities included reliability testing of the assessment, a qualitative review of screening decisions conducted before and after implementation, and surveying  workers about the assessment and implementation. Findings showed that the assessment helped workers reach reliable decisions given the same information, and in combination with other decision supports, improved workers’ case narrative explaining screening and response time decisions.<br>");

Ninety percent of families felt included in decisions and supported in their role as family decision maker.  DCF workers also had positive reactions to using the assessments with families.  An article published in <i>Common Ground</i> in July 2009 details new developments in DCF’s practice model and the positive reactions of families and workers.
